Dark Clouds Over Shanxi
It has often been true that Maoist attitudes towards Christianity have been most entrenched in the interior and northern provinces rather than the more advanced coastal regions. In these latter areas house churches often are winked at by local authorities and Christians seen as an asset to society. But in others, out-of-date prejudices, corruption and ideology combine to attack house-church believers. This has been the case again in the shocking case of persecution of the large house-church in Linfen in the northern, inland province of Shanxi.

Feb. Prayer Points
1. Pray for Prof. D as he continues to travel to China regularly to witness to non-Christians and counsel new believers.
2. Pray the Lord will raise up many more qualified foreigners to visit China on a short-term basis to lecture and teach.
