    The former Chairmen of the USA and Singapore Boards of the Chinese Overseas Christian Mission (COCM) have asked all who know Mary Wang to pray fervently for her healing and full recovery. Mary is well known to many in OMF International over many years in building up the ministry of COCM in the UK and throughout Europe. Strong gospel-based Chinese fellowships and churches have sprung up in many countries.

    1. Pray for the leadership of China, that counsels of moderation will win out and that the church will enjoy greater freedom.

    2. Pray for the work of visitation and evangelism to the poor, sick and incapacitated in thousands of poor villages in north China. Pray the light and love of Christ will bring hope, healing and salvation to many in great need.

  • A Cooling in Relations

    The first two months of 2010 have seen a definite cooling of relations between China and the United States and the European Union. More than half of the Chinese questioned in a recent poll in the Chinese publication Global Times believe that China and America are heading for a new “cold war” (Sunday Times, February 7, 2010).
