C, Lin, Bouyei People Group Advocate

Bay Area, California

“Volunteering in the BridgeAsia program is a natural next step for me to promote the work I believe God cares about.”

Outside of his work in technical sales, C. advocates by introducing people to the unreached minority group—the Bouyei. He shares at mission conferences as a representative to encourage prayer. For years God’s been teaching his family about his love for the unreached and felt like it was his time to share. “BridgeAsia provides me with the training and resources to advocate on the behalf of the Bouyei people,” said C.

Since starting this ministry C. has seen several people accept the invitation to pray for the Bouyei using the 30-day prayer guide. “The most rewarding moment in my BridgeAsia ministry is when God takes me to places where his people are eager to know or get involved, and I am there to connect them to the resources and opportunities,” explained C.

For C. being an advocate has increased his understanding that the work of missions takes team effort both in the field and right here. “My goal is to be an obedient servant helping people move one step deeper into the “Six Ways to Reach God’s World,” said C.
