BridgeAsia is OMF International’s new national volunteer ministry. Serving to mobilize prayer and ministry partners nationwide in order to reach the larger goal of reaching East Asia’s peoples, BridgeAsia allows everyday people to serve in missions. It’s not often easy to pack our bags and go overseas, and sometimes we can’t afford to send missionaries, but we all have time; time that can be used of God right where we live. BridgeAsia offers five volunteer opportunities that you can do in your local community.

Advocates spend time sharing about God’s work in East Asia with those around. It can be as simple as sharing an OMF International film to a friends. Prayer leaders take the time to start and lead a prayer group in their church or with a group of friends for a missionary, people group or country in East Asia. Event coordinators use their time to host and plan events that engage people in the vision of reaching the unreached and being challenged to get involved. Mission mentors invest time in the lives of people wanting to discover their role in missions.

Our vision for BridgeAsia is to build the church worldwide through passionate and committed volunteers who long to see East Asia’s billions reached with the gospel.
