Position: Videographer/editor

Responsible to: Video Producer

About OMF: OMF International is committed to seeing an indigenous church movement for each people group in East Asia. Our U.S. mobilization team’s passion is to inform, inspire and involve God’s people in his purposes for the nations. We are looking for a videographer/editor to help produce compelling tools and resources for our ministry of mobilizing people to pray, go and send.

Job Summary:

  • Helps prepare videos for mobilization.
  • Has the focus and motivational drive to work both individually and as a flexible team player as part of the entire communications and mobilization team.
  • Is able to multi-task and meet deadlines.
  • Needs to be able to communicate to a broad and varied audience expanding over the common divides of age, demographics and ethnicity.
  • Has an interest in missions; some cross-cultural experience helpful.

Requirements:

  • At least two years experience in shooting and field production, as well as post-production.
  • Experienced in hands-on editing with non-linear editing systems such as Final Cut Pro, AVID or Premiere Pro.
  • A degree in video, film, communications or similar field is helpful.
  • Willing to do some overseas travel.
  • The ability to work within an international, interdenominational organization.
  • The ability to proactively plan and work.
  • Willingness to develop a strong support team for both prayer and finances (full financial support needed).
  • Endorsed and supported by local pastor and church.
  • Minimum two-year commitment; three years preferred. Willing to work in Littleton, Colorado.
  • A mature and growing relationship with Jesus Christ.
  • A teachable spirit and flexible attitude.
  • Desires to see God’s glory known among the peoples of East Asia.

Salary: Commensurate with experience and support level (you will need to raise full financial support for living and ministry expenses). We ask mobilization team members to raise support to decrease the amount of money field workers need to contribute to mobilization expenses.
