BridgeAsia Volunteer Ministry Coordinator
Position: Coordinator for BridgeAsia National Volunteer Ministry and Mobilization
Responsible to: Director for Mobilization

BridgeAsia Purpose Statement: To invest our lives locally in the mobilization and stewardship of critical resources to advance a church movement in each people group of East Asia.
Job Summary:
- Provide vision for and oversee the national BridgeAsia program for OMF (U.S.) which operates from our Colorado headquarters as well as various regions around the U.S.
- Develop a 3-5 year plan for the continual strategic development of BridgeAsia.
- Develop and maintain training materials for the BridgeAsia volunteer program.
- Develop and coordinate the national recruitment strategy for BridgeAsia.
- Act as the internal consultant to further effective volunteer ministry development.
- Guide regional mobilization directors concerning their BridgeAsia program.
- Oversee BridgeAsia support staff.
- Track the progress and effectiveness of the BridgeAsia program and volunteers nationwide.
- Maintain the BridgeAsia intranet, internal website for further training and communication with volunteers nationwide.
- Coordinate volunteer training and consulting opportunities between regional and headquarters staff and the consulting company.
- Work with regional, headquarter and BridgeAsia personnel to develop volunteer teams in strategic areas that don’t have current OMF International presence.
Requirements:
- Love for Jesus Christ and growing relationship.
- Passion for East Asia and reaching its peoples for God’s glory.
- Highly organized with strong follow through on tasks and responsibilities.
- A self-starter and motivator; ability to proactively plan and work.
- Basic writing and verbal communication skills; develop and articulate BridgeAsia vision.
- Strong relational skills. Enjoyment in working with others to encourage and mobilize volunteers.
- Willingness to attend training with Al Newell and Associates.
- Minimum 3-year commitment. Must be willing to work in Littleton, Colorado.
- The ability to work within an international, interdenominational organization.
- A strong support team for both prayer and finances (full financial support needed).
- Endorsed and supported by local pastor and church.
Salary: Commensurate with experience and support level (you will need to raise full financial support for living and ministry expenses). We ask mobilization team members to raise support to decrease the amount of money field workers need to contribute to mobilization expenses.
