Position: Assistant Follow-up Coordinator for an evangelical interdenominational missions organization

Responsible to: Follow-up Coordinator

Relates with: Regional mobilization personnel, Serve Asia staff, Candidate department, rest of mobilization team

OMF International is committed to seeing an indigenous biblical church movement for each people group in East Asia. Our U.S. mobilization team’s mission is to join with God to inform, inspire, influence and involve God’s people in the urgent evangelization of East Asia’s peoples however God may lead them. We are looking for a motivated servant to faithfully communicate with, encourage and nurture individuals considering serving God in missions. Note: We welcome all inquiries, but are really looking for females!

Requirements:

• A mature and growing relationship with Jesus Christ.
• A desire to see God’s glory known among the peoples of East Asia.
• Verbal communication skills.
• A heart to invest in others preparing to serve God in missions.
• Some overseas ministry experience (short or long term).
• Basic computer skills (word processing, e-mail, web research, spreadsheets).
• A teachable spirit and a flexible attitude.
• Ability to work within an international, interdenominational organization.
• Ability to proactively plan and work.
• Ability to work on a team.
• A strong support team for both prayer and finances (full financial support is needed).
• Endorsed and supported by local pastor and church.
• Minimum three-year commitment.

Duties May Include:

• Communicating by telephone and e-mail with individuals considering involvement in missions.
• Contacting initial inquirers from conference attendeess all around the country.
• Represent OMF at conferences (some travel involved).
• Maintain and administer follow-up system.
• Assist Follow-up Coordinator.
• Participate in Mobilization team training, U.S. Headquarter office functions and be a positive contribution to the overall team.

Salary: Commensurate with experience and support level. Note that we ask mobilization team members to raise full support for living and ministry costs to decrease the amount of money field workers need to contribute to mobilization expenses.
