Serve Asia Mission Mentors
Would you be interested in joining the Serve Asia team for a year, working from right where you live?
God is mobilizing workers for the harvest field in East Asia like we haven’t seen for quite some time! The number of short-term workers in OMF’s Serve Asia program has doubled in the past few years. With a small staff, there is no way we can effectively and faithfully invest in each of these participants God is bringing to us …which is where you come in!
Mission Mentor Training weekends:
- Friday, February 12 - Monday, February 15, 2010
- Friday, March 5 - Monday, March 8, 2010
- Application Deadline: Friday, January 29, 2010
Would you like the opportunity to:
- Invest in God’s purposes in the world?
- Be part of the unreached coming to know him?
- Work alongside field workers to implement their strategies for starting a church among the unreached people they are focused on?
- Grow as a Christian leader?
- Be educated and trained in the unique role of missions mobilization?
- Personally invest in a small group of people whom God is challenging to “go”?
- Develop a committed team of prayer and financial supporters who will invest in God’s work in and through you?
- Be challenged and strengthened in your own relationship with Christ?
If you answered yes to any or all of these questions, then we would like to encourage you to seriously pray about applying for a Serve Asia Mission Mentor position.

Who can be a Serve Asia Mission Mentor?
Anyone who has participated in a short-term missions trip (has cross-cultural experience) and has experience in Christian leadership (i.e. small group Bible study leader, prayer group leader, college fellowship leader, etc).
What do I do next if I want to become a Serve Asia Mission Mentor?
Read over the Serve Asia Mission Mentor Ministry description for the requirements and details of responsibility. If this role interests you, then take the “next steps” outlined below or contact us to discuss it further.
Here are some next steps:
Mission Mentors are appointed after completing the application process, which includes filling out the Serve Asia Application Form, the Mission Mentor Supplement Form, three references and a personal interview with a Serve Asia Coordinator.
