The majority of Bamar (as well as the hill tribes) in Myanmar have had vigorous missions activity directed toward them in the past. Despite the efforts of many dedicated missionaries, the gospel never had a significant impact on these people. Pray for breakthrough with the gospel.

Invest in the lives of East Asia's peoples through a prayer journey, cultural exchange, English teaching, sports, drama & arts, or other opportunities. Catch the long-term vision of God's work in East Asia as you live, work and travel.

Serve Asia is based on developing relationships. Your Serve Asia on-field experience can last from 2 weeks up to 6 months. You will be involved in ministry activities which will assist in the on-going work in your host country.

We will work to the best of our ability to ensure that you have the opportunity to be involved in the ministry of your first preference, but please be flexible and understanding due to the constantly changing situations overseas. The details of your specific Serve Asia ministry can be found under the 2007 Opportunities section or through your team leader or the Serve Asia staff.
