Training in the US:

Serve Asia Training is a vital requirement for every Serve Asia worker. The specifics of your training will depend on your specific situation and PLACEMENT TYPE (National Team, Partnership Team, Individual Placement).

What to expect of a Serve Asia team training weekend:

• 3 days & 2 nights with OMF and other Serve Asia workers
• Corporate worship & prayer
• Spiritual emphasis training
• Team building exercises
• Cross-cultural living sessions
• Building Relationships

The attendance cost (not including travel to and from) is built into the overall cost of the trip. (Note: Partnership Team trainings incorporate the same elements, but may vary by team.)

Training in Asia:

Once you arrive in your country of service, you will be given more specific training from your hosts regarding the culture and the ministry you will be a part of during your Serve Asia trip. You will be learning all you can before you go, but be prepared to continue learning much more while you are there!
