Philippines - Outdoor Ministry to Middle School TCKs - Spend time with missionary kids from all over the globe in the great outdoors of the Philippines. You will have the opportunity to minister to these tweens and teens through both outdoor education and nightly devotions. If you have a heart for the middle school student this trip is for you! Philippines - Children’s Programs for TCKs - Lead children’s programs for missionary kids in the Southern Philippines and Manila while their parents attend a conference on building up their ministry. Play games, lead worship, build relationships. If you love children you don’t want to miss this opportunity. Another trip can be attached to this for a longer, more diverse experience in-country. Individual Placements— For those considering long-term, cross-cultural work, experience in every-day life overseas, 1-1 interaction with national and cross-cultural workers; A great opportunity for those with a vision for a specific country or seeking to meet a specific need with professional skills. CAMBODIA

Church planting 101 - Get to know the “ins and outs” of starting a church among the unreached by working alongside long-term workers. Invest in the lives of their kids by running a children’s program at the yearly missionary conference. June/July (6 weeks)

CHINA

Northeast China Vision Trip A - Catch a vision and pray for the needs of North Korea and Northeast China. Teach Korean-Chinese University students conversational English or other subjects such as engineering, German, etc. (depending on skills of the team). June / August (6 weeks)

Northeast China Vision Trip B — Catch a vision and pray for the needs of North Korea and China. Travel with a team to learn and pray on-site with insight for these areas. June/July (2 weeks)

Culture Exchange - Learn Chinese (Mandarin) language and culture in small classes with Chinese teachers. Build friendships to share Christ with university students by playing sports, visiting coffee shops and spending time in conversational English. June/ August (7 weeks)

Medical Student Vision Trip—For those considering long-term medical work in China. Visit various medical ministries and learn from professionals working in different job roles, as you consider where you may be able to work in the future. June (2 weeks)

Minority People Prayer Journey — Travel with a small team and pray “on-site with Insight” for the breaking down of strongholds among this minority people group. In order to see God’s love move forward in these areas, the way must be prepared through prayer and mapping out areas of spiritual need. July / August (3 weeks)

JAPAN

Tsugaru Church - Join the ministry of this church in the small town Itayanagi. You will be involved in a variety of ministries including; outreach to children, young people, university students and adults. You will experience many aspects of church planting and have opportunities to specialize in a specific ministry. June / August (5 weeks)

Laos, Vietnam, Myanmar

Vocational Center English Teaching - Work alongside long-term workers to teach English to local businessmen and women in a vocational center to improve their economic situation and share the love of Christ with them. Spend one week on a Prayer Journey. May / June (4 weeks)

Orphanage Ministry - Invest in the lives of children who are loved by God, though they have been abandoned by their families. Serve through games, crafts, music, hugs and smiles. June (4 weeks)

Prayer Journey—Go prepared to pray and jump into various spontaneous opportunities to serve. Ministry plans will be based on skills of team members and needs that may arise, such as teaching children, English tutoring, sports ministry, etc. June (3—4 weeks)

PHILIPPINES

Urban Poor Outreach - Join national workers in outreach programs, community development and other activities among urban poor and displaced communities. This long-term team is looking for innovative people, creative thinkers, and practitioners to help with the continuing development of their ministry. Although you will train and travel with a team, you will function as an individual placement and be housed with a host family. June / August (7 weeks)

SOUTHEAST ASIA MUSLIMS

Cycling Prayer Journey - Bike along the coast of a beautiful country while praying for the Muslim peoples who live there and need to hear the gospel. Visit various towns and long-term workers to see how god wants to use you in reaching them! June / July (3 weeks)

TAIWAN

Wanhua International Team - Work with an international team teaching English to children and building relationships with families in a low-income housing area. July (4 weeks)

THAILAND

Competitive Soccer - Join a competitive international soccer team and participate in student evangelism in schools, detention centers and outdoor parks. (Males only) June / July (4 weeks)

Student Outreach/ English Teaching - Build relationships with university students by teaching English and sharing your life with them outside the classroom at dinner gatherings, sports activities, coffee bars and inviting them to the local church. June / August (6 weeks)

Backpacking Prayer Journey— Backpack through Northern Thailand to pray “onsite with insight” for unreached people Living in spiritual bondage. Travel, learn, talk with Buddhist monks, visit ministries and encourage long-term workers. July / August (3 weeks)

USA

Chicago Chinese Children’s Program— The Pui Tak Center runs a five week summer camp program (June 30 to Aug 1) for about 200 kids. The program runs 9am to 3pm Monday through Friday. Participants can serve as teachers, classroom aides and specialists (music, physical education, arts and craft, etc.). Opportunities are available to participate in adult tutoring and Vacation Bible School as well. (This team will not attend training or debriefing with overseas summer teams.)
June-August (5 weeks)

IMPORTANT NOTES

Application Deadline: minimum three months before trip departure date. (Deadlines range from February - April for summer teams. Late applications will be given case-by-case consideration.)

Application Fee: $45 (Late applications will be considered for remaining openings)

Summer participants attend Serve Asia Orientation in Colorado over Memorial Day Weekend at the end of May. (Program costs listed do not include this individual travel expense to Colorado)

Summer participants attend Debriefing with team members upon return to the US in California before returning home. (Dates and cost included in programs above)
