OMF THAILAND

Vision: OMF Thailand's vision is to see a movement of indigenous biblical churches reproducing among their own people in Thailand and reaching out in mission to other peoples.

Mission: To glorify God by the urgent evangelization of Thailand.

Core Values: OMF Thailand’s core values include God-centeredness, thorough evangelization, strategic partnerships, cultural appropriateness, focused creativity and authentic fellowship.

Thailand is more open now than at any other time in recent history! Thai people are turning to Jesus Christ as they are becoming disillusioned with Buddhism and their political leaders. We need more workers to take advantage of the opportunities that exist now, especially in the Buddhist heartlands of central, south and northeast Thailand where there are whole districts without a single church.

Church Planting
OMF Thailand needs creative and willing people to come to Thailand to share Christ’s love with these Buddhists. In South Thailand, there is only one couple among nearly one million Buddhists doing church planting. We are looking for team players to join them in church planting and student ministry. In northeast Thailand, a small team of workers gifted in evangelism, wholistic ministry and a love for rural peoples, is needed to do church planting. In Bangkok, Thailand’s capital, OMF Thailand is looking for new workers for a team reaching students and doing church planting. Central Thailand also needs church planters.

Tyro Thailand
Receive training and develop cross-cultural ministry skills with Tyro Thailand as you discover where and how God can use you. Study basic Thai and work on a missionary team reaching the Thai Buddhists around you. This program is open to anyone, single or married without children at least 18 years of age. It is part of OMF’s Associate program.

Student Workers
OMF Thailand needs new workers to pioneer program reaching out to students in universities, colleges and high schools. The work would be in conjuncture with a church planting team in the city.

Administrative Services
We need administrative service specialists so that team members gifted in direct ministry can concentrate on their ministry. We have openings for those working with computers, working with the Thai in the Bangkok office or working in the mission centers giving pastoral care as well as being a mission home manager. These positions require the gift of administration and service.
