Since 1865 when OMF International was founded as the China Inland Mission by J. Hudson Taylor, serving people in Asia in time- and season-appropriate ways that introduced the “always-relevant Jesus” has been a driving force.
Today, globalization opens a new time and season that provides opportunities to share the gospel across a wider swath of East Asia than we have seen over the last 60 years. Seeking to replace old economic systems, the move to capitalism in many countries allows business people to intentionally enter with a business that has a mission to plant churches and share the gospel … while operating a legitimate, well run, ethical and sound for profit.
Missional business, reaching people for Christ through businesses centered in a mission purpose, is a developing strategy of OMF International in which we are seeking to engage seasoned business professionals who desire to invest themselves through business among the communities of East
Asia toward the growing of Christ’s kingdom.
Engage
Would God have you invest your life using your experience in business for his glory in East Asia?
Would you be willing to partner with God and have him work through you to influence a community in East Asia with your business knowledge and skills? Whether you are advising from your home or managing operations in Asia, you fill a crucial role.
Support
Could you offer support and encouragement to those in Asia who are developing businesses? We are looking for people who are prepared to mentor or offer consultancy services to those starting up and running missional businesses. You and your experience can help to build the strong foundation these
businesses need.
Invest
As OMF International develops this missional business strategy, one thing is clear. We cannot do it alone. We need business investors to support us. Might God use you as an investor in a kingdom business? One who can come alongside the strategic plans of others, providing the finance and laying the foundations for their successful business in East Asia?

Our aim is to give God glory through our work in East Asia. Pray with us that our missional activities would contribute to the community, go ahead of the gospel where it is not presently known and would cross the barriers in other places to open a way for maturing disciples and churches.
