Vital Support Ministries
When you give to vital support ministries, you provide life-giving resources with eternal impact. In the words of one overseas missionary member, “It is a great comfort to know that OMF International colleagues back home are providing the backbone for our front line work. My donors are receiving my prayer letters, someone is thinking about my retirement needs, medical and tax issues are being taken care of, and new missionaries are being mobilized for my team. I’m able to focus on the work God called me to East Asia to do.”
Donations to Vital Support Ministries are used where most needed. You may also choose to indicate a particular U.S. project need for your giving preference:
Where most needed – Donations under discretionary usage by leadership
- Budgetary support for infrastructure and other ongoing operations such as technology, health care, logistics and program ministries.
- OMF International (U.S.) operational needs not provided for in other ways.
In the tradition of Hudson Taylor, our practice is to look to the Lord daily to meet our needs - rather than large endowments or savings. In doing so, we have come to expect the Lord to work through the ongoing generosity of OMF International's friends who make Vital Support Ministries a giving priority.
U.S. Projects - Donations designated for U.S. projects contribute to OMF International’s mission for the urgent evangelization of East Asia’s peoples. They include the selection and equipping of new missionary candidates, educational conferences, prayer events and ongoing care and development of our veteran missionaries; as well as projects for infrastructure needs, communications programs, and equipment purchases and upgrades.
