Shop Assistant Outreach, Panchaio (suburb of Taipei)

Shop Assistant Outreach (SAO) is a ministry designed to reach the working class of Panchaio. Those ministering through SAO spend time in shops, restaurant, salons, etc. building relationships with those working there. Because of the busy schedule of shop workers, SAO has set up “Late Night” meetings to accommodate those who would otherwise have no opportunity to be involved. Through these meetings, SAO is sharing the truth of Christ with many who have never heard. Many shop workers have come from broken homes and marriages. In light of this, SAO has set up dormitory housing for men and women in need of a safe place to live. This provides opportunities to continue ministering to the workers and their families.

The Spring Worship & Witness Center, Taipei

In the Long Shan Temple area of Taipei, idolatry, demon appeasement, drugs, alcohol and prostitution bring much darkness. But two missionaries have established a place of light. The Spring caters to those in the depths of society. By sharing food and the love of Christ, the center is meeting important physical and spiritual needs. The Spring is also a place for worship, counseling, Bible studies and small group meetings. Those working at The Spring are offering light in the face of darkness and hope to the hopeless.
