Hudson Taylor believed that God's work done in God's way would never lack God's supply. Praise God for his provision and continue to pray for his ongoing supply for the work of reaching East Asia's peoples.
Many tribal children in the hills of Thailand are unable to obtain a good education in their own village, however, the parents realize the necessity for their children to have a good Thai education in order to keep up with the modern culture. This being the case, they send their children into the larger towns for schooling. OMF helps tribal children while they attend school away from home by providing housing through hostels. At these hostels, children also receive training in the Christian faith and teaching that will enable them to one day take leadership in the church among their own people. Opportunities to adopt and help provide funding for these hostels are available through this project.

Home of Hope
All children long for love and a place to belong. Home of Hope offers them both, and so much more. Through the ministry of HOH, orphan children are seeing Christ’s love and beginning to heal from the hurts of their past. Because of the great need, HOH is looking to expand to their own property in order to house more children.

Bamar Evangelism
“To be Bamar means to be Buddhist” is the saying of this people. With 99.99 percent of the 31 million Bamar people professing Buddhism, this appears to be true. The Buddhist religion is so deeply ingrained in their culture that is makes bringing the gospel of Christ difficult and complex. Missionaries in this area want to bring Christ in understandable terms to the unreached Bamar people, so that the end result will be a biblical, indigenous church movement. The process of researching and networking in order to gain the best understanding of the Bamar people and their culture is currently in progress. A team is forming and initial steps will include team training, research and networking.

Shan Assistance
Approximately 5 million Shan people live in Asia. Currently, over 99 percent are Buddhist, leaving only about 15,000 Christians. The Shan assistance project is committed to the start of a church planting movement among the Shan people. In order to establish this movement, project workers will do the following:
Pray with Shan believers
Recruit foreign workers to work alongside Shan believers in evangelizing
Provide training materials and programs to equip evangelists among the Shan to go out and begin new church plants
Reach out to people with the love of Christ
The hope is to see hundreds of new church plants in the Shan villages and towns.

Shan Youth Hostel and Church Construction
OMF assists with youth hostels (residences) for Shan children who move from their villages to study at the provincial high school. Hostel work is an important part of OMF’s strategy for Shan Church planting, and provides the platform to expose young people to the word of God. In addition to providing an opportunity to reach out to parents and relatives, they also create opportunities to train national workers as hostel parents, evangelists and teachers, and caretakers for the property. Hostels are presently functioning in rented facilities. Property has been purchased for construction for both a church and hostel building. The project represents an important strategic foothold as these youth move beyond their tribal surroundings.

Hmong Radio Programming
A movement of God has begun among the Hmong peoples. God is working and there are many opportunities to share and disciple. As more come to believe, there is a great need for churches to be planted. Through the Hmong Radio Programming project, chronological teaching on church planting is being heard by Hmong believers in both Blue and White Hmong. The programs air for 30 minutes a day and include key teachings on building a biblical, indigenous church within the Hmong people group.
