Gospel Literature and Bibles for China

This project is designed to produce and deliver Bibles and additional Christian materials, in simplified Chinese script to believers and church leaders. For the past few years, OMF has partnered with a team dedicated to the effective distribution of this publication in remote areas in an effort to dramatically increase the supply in China.

Apologetic Literature for Intellectuals

Young, educated adults in China have spent years in an atheistic education system, giving them a skewed worldview. As a result, there is a unique need among this group for apologetic literature in their own language. Since 1992, the Apologetic Literature for Intellectuals Project has been trying to meet this need by translating and writing essays, tracts, and books on this subject. With topics such as, “Was Jesus a real historical figure?,” “But, evolution is a scientific fact, right?” and “Do people need God?,” intellectuals are receiving the answers to the questions they ask when confronted with new ideas about the Bible, spirituality, and Christianity. This information is also distributed to Chinese students studying outside China.

Dawn China

With large numbers of people turning to Christ, the need for mature leadership and training in China has exploded! However, there are not enough opportunities to train the number of leaders needed. “Dawn China” is seeking to change that. This short-wave radio program began with the vision to meet this vital need for leadership training. “Dawn China” is a daily program designed to train those in leadership positions in the fundamental teaching of the truth. With false teachings and cults surfacing all over China the need for strong leadership and deep knowledge of the Scripture is essential to the survival of the church. Dawn China has been a crucial instrument in the development of leadership where there is no other available opportunity for training.

Agape Vision Association

Training and equipping of Christian leaders both within and outside of mainland China is key to church health and growth. During the last several years many thousands have been mentored and discipled through this project at various rural and urban areas within China as well as abroad. Cults and false doctrines have been challenged and dispelled by the truth of the gospel. Those trained have, in turn, trained others. Training in China is by experienced, qualified pastors and teachers who travel to China and volunteer their time. They receive coordination and financial support through this project for Bibles, theological texts, and equipment and travel expenses.
