Credit Cards (Online giving only)

On-line payments are made through JustGive.org, an independent non-profit organizations that provides secure internet transactions. Contributions to JustGive are tax deductible, just as if you were giving directly to OMF. JustGive sends your contribution to OMF but will deduct 3% from your contribution to cover credit card charges. You will receive your tax deductible receipt directly from JustGive. You can track your giving history online at the JustGive web site.

Please do not use the online donation for Serve Asia application fees or Serve Asia worker support.

Follow these instructions to make an on-line contribution now:

  • CLICK HERE to go to OMF's page on the JustGive.org website (opens in a new browser window - please ensure that your pop-up blocker is disabled).
  • Click on the "Donate Now" button and enter the amount you wish to contribute.
  • In the "Designation" box, fill in the staff or project to which you would like to contribute. You cannot make a personal gift to a missionary online.
  • Follow the on-screen directions to complete your donation.

1. How and when does my donation get to OMF? First, Cybersource will process your donation through your credit card company immediately after you enter your information. When you donate through JustGive.org, you are actually donating directly to JustGive.org, not to OMF. JustGive.org then, in turn, makes a contribution to OMF. Donations are processed by the 10th of the month following the month the donation was made on JustGive.org. For instance, if you make a donation on JustGive.org on March 8th, JustGive.org processes checks by April 10th. All contributions made to JustGive.org for OMF are consolidated and sent to OMF in a single monthly check.

The confirmation you receive at the end of your donation to JustGive.org is sufficient to serve as a receipt for tax purposes. Please keep it for your records.

2. Is my donation safe and secure? Absolutely. JustGive.org’s website security is provided by Secure Sockets Layer (SSL), a recognized authentication and encryption software. In other words, the site becomes locked while you are giving us your credit card information and unlocks only when you leave the secured area, and your credit card number is “encrypted” so it is unreadable to anyone outside the transaction process.

3. Will JustGive.org protect my privacy? JustGive.org guarantees that they will not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to anyone outside JustGive.org. In addition, they offer you the option of donating anonymously so that OMF will not receive information about you without your permission.

4. Will I receive a confirmation that my donation has been received? Certainly. Once your donation has been processed, JustGive.org will send you a receipt via e-mail. All donations made through JustGive.org also appear in your account. To view donations for any given year, simply log into your JustGive.org account.

5. How much of my donation goes to OMF? 3% is deducted from all donations made through JustGive.org to cover the cost of transactions. These costs include credit card fees and those for stamps, envelopes, and checks. JustGive.org does NOT absorb ANY of this 3% but uses it to pay for these processing fees.

6. Can I make a donation on the phone if I don't want to donate online? Sorry, JustGive.org processes only online donations at this time.

7. Can I make an anonymous donation? Absolutely. JustGive.org is committed to protecting your privacy and offers you the option of donating anonymously. This means the OMF knows your donation amount but does not receive your name or any other contact information about you.

8. Can I make a donation as a gift for or in memory of someone else? Yes! Simply include your gift recipient's e-mail address (if they have one) and add a personal gift message. Your recipient is notified automatically via e-Card. (If your recipient does not have e-mail, simply submit your e-mail address. Once you receive the notification e-mail, just print it out and give it to your recipient.)

9. What are my payment options? You may donate using your Visa, MasterCard, Discover, or American Express card. If you would like to use a check or cash, please mail your donation directly to OMF.

10. Can I make recurring or monthly credit card donations to OMF through GustGive.org? JustGive.org does not offer this service. However, OMF can automatically deduct your contribution directly from your bank account each month. For more information about this service please see the section on OMF’s Automatic Donation Program in the OMF web site.

11. Is there a minimum donation amount? JustGive.org is happy to accept any gift of $5 or more.

12. Are my donations 100% tax deductible? Yes. OMF and JustGive.org are tax-exempt and your donation is fully deductible to the full amount allowed by law.

NOTE: Not all donations to OMF can be claimed as charitable deductions, even though OMF is registered as a nonprofit. For instance, fees for a program and personal gifts to a missionary, are not deductible.

13. How do I view my Giving History? To view your giving history click the words “Your Account” in the upper right corner of the JustGive.org web site then log in using the e-mail address and password you chose during registration. Once in the Your Account page, click on the link called “Giving History.”

14. What if I have a problem making a donation? If you have any problems or questions, please contact JustGive.org Customer Service department at help@justgive.org , or call them toll-free at 866.JUSTGIVE (587.8448).

15. Can I cancel a donation? All donations made through JustGive.org are not refundable. However, if for some reason there is an error on your credit card, please contact JustGive.org at 866.JUSTGIVE (587.8448), and they will help solve the problem.
