Prayer requests - updated March 25:
- Pray for all involved in resolving the problems at the nuclear plant and pray that leaking radiation won’t spread or levels rise.
- An estimated 250,000 people are living in evacuation shelters and food, water and fuel are still in short supply. Imagine yourself into that situation and pray accordingly.
- Pray for the government as they plan for rehabilitation of affected areas, providing temporary housing and supporting those who have lost homes, jobs, money and family members.
- Pray for Christians in these areas as they reach out to neighbors, and pray for church groups and Christians sending teams in with relief supplies and seeking to give support to these local churches.
- Pray for OMF International workers from Hokkaido, Aomori and Sendai involved in relief efforts and for the group from Tokyo going up to Sendai on Monday.
- Pray for a new spiritual openness in Japan; for boldness to take all opportunities to speak for him and to love for his sake.
