Noble, Tim and Brenda

Tim and Brenda Noble

Missionaries to Thailand

God has prepared Tim and Brenda for strategic ministries in Thailand.

Tim grew up in Boulder, Colorado, where he was active in First Presbyterian Church and grew in the Lord. A church mission trip to Mexico and Urbana 87 sparked his interest in sharing Christ cross-culturally, and he spent four years in China teaching English. Feeling God's call to continue serving overseas, he did his M.A. in Teaching English as a Second Language at the University of Illinois.

Brenda grew up in Kenora, Ontario, involved at First Baptist Church. She accepted Christ as her Savior while young. By her college years Brenda felt called to missions, and took a summer missions trip to Thailand.

After becoming a teacher, Brenda returned to Thailand with OMF in 1986. To prepare to become OMF Thailand's Language Supervisor, she did her M.A. TESL at the University of Illinois. The Nobles were married in October 1996,and have adopted two Thai boys in recent years.

Brenda helps new OMF missionaries learn Thai at Lopburi Learning Center. Tim has taught English at Rajabhat University Thepsatri, and is coordinating "Teachers for Thailand," which places Christian English teachers in Thai colleges.
