Jill Yan-Ru Lee

Missionary to Thailand

Jill was born in Taiwan and became an American citizen by naturalization. She came to know Christ personally through searching Scripture and attending Bible study groups. At that point enjoying and glorifying God became her life goal.

Introduced to OMF through her "spiritual mother," Jill learned more by attending OMF prayer conferences and monthly prayer meetings. Her desire to serve in the place where the gospel is least known led to her interest in the country of Thailand. Jill served in Thailand as a missionary for two years, which confirmed her calling to long-term service.

Jill received a BA in English literature from Fu Jen University, an MS in special education from Southern Illinois University, and a certificate in computer information systems from De Anza College. She received Bible training through Moody Bible Institute and San Jose Christian College.

Working in Thailand under OMF since 1996, Jill is using her gifts and skills in students work, church planting, Bible teaching, discipleship training and evangelism. Along with a team, she has planted a church among university students in Chiang Mai in northern Thailand.
