Paul and Mie-Kyoung Kim

Mobilizing Korean Americans

Paul and his wife Mie-Kyoung Kim have been called to serve the Lord though mobilizing Korean Americans to participate in evangelizing East Asia’s peoples.

Paul was born in Korea and immigrated to the U.S. with his family at the age of eleven. He grew up in a Christian family and committed his life to the Lord and His service at the age of 15. He has a BA degree from UC Santa Barbara, and an MDiv. from Fuller Theological Seminary. He is currently finishing his ThM program in Intercultural Studies with emphasis in Mission Theology at Fuller Seminary.

Paul has served as youth pastor, education pastor and English ministry pastor at various Korean-American churches. He has also worked as an admissions coordinator of the Korean Doctor of Ministry Program at Fuller Theological Seminary. At present, he is serving at Young Nak Presbyterian Church of Los Angeles as missions pastor.

Mie-Kyoung grew up in Taiwan and in Singapore as an MK. She came to the United States in 1987 to study music education at California State University, Stanislaus. Mie-Kyoung is serving the Lord through her musical talents, teaching children at Sunday school, and taking care of two children of their own at home.

With hearts desiring to serve God, Paul and Mie-Kyoung are excited about the opportunity to serve God through working together with Korean-American churches to reach East Asia’s peoples.
