Daniel and Song Kim

Missionaries to Thailand

God brought Daniel to salvation during high school in Los Angeles. After taking the Perspectives Course in 1985, Daniel fully committed his life to serving God overseas. Song was born into a strong Christian family and has been a teacher at junior and senior high schools for ten years. After marrying, they were blessed by God with two children: Joshua and Hannah.

Daniel and Song have both dedicated their lives to sharing the good news with the people of Asia. In 1998 they left the U.S.A. to serve the Thai people. Currently they are serving in Bangkok, Thailand, in church planting among young people and professionals.

The Kims were blessed during their first term to participate in a church planting effort in the northern part of Bangkok. Bangkok is hom to 10 million Thai people. Daniel and Song praise God for His working through them to reach out to lost urban Thai.

The Kims' vision is to accomplish saturation church planting among urban professionals and children. There are several universities in the northern part of Bangkok where they also want to disciple young people for God's kingdom. Through using a strategy of multiplying house churches, they long for God's kingdom to be built.
