Harry and Diane Halkowich

Stewardship Ministries Director / Prayer Network Director

Diane and Harry Halkowich have been with OMF since 1998, serving on its U.S. headquarters staff in Denver. They have two grown children, James and Ali, and a teenager at home, Staci.

Before joining OMF they had lived in Orange County, California, all their married life. Harry is a graduate of Pepperdine Law School and before joining OMF had been an estate planning attorney for 22 years and a partner in a mid-sized Orange County law firm. Diane had been a "stay-at-home mom," active as a leader with Bible Study Fellowship and in women's ministries within their home church.

They became Christians within months of each other in 1980. Their two oldest children were four and two years old at the time, and Harry had already been an attorney for five years. After they came to faith in Christ, God began to bring about changes in their personal and professional lives as they sought to follow Him.

Finally, in 1997, God placed His call on Harry and Diane, eventually resulting in their decision to serve with OMF. With two children in college, and exchanging an attorney lifestyle for that of missionaries, they sold their home of 20 years and uprooted to Denver. Somehow, God not only gave opportunity but also worked out the details.

Harry is Stewardship Ministries Director, working with foundation, general fund and project donors. His estate planning skills are being used in a new way. Diane's role as National Prayer Network Director is to encourage and build up OMF prayer groups throughout the United States. Together, their ministry includes representing OMF with individuals, groups, churches, and at events and conferences.
