David and Jeannie Dougherty

Director for Plans and Training

David Dougherty is the Director for Plans and Training for OMF International at their U.S. headquarters in Littleton, Colorado. His warm enthusiasm for teaching the Word of God, coupled with his clear perspective on the task of world evangelization, has made him a popular speaker in missions conferences, seminars and courses in a number of local churches as well as on college and seminary campuses across the United States, Canada and Mexico.

He brings a combination of local church and mission agency experience to his present position. For over thirteen years he pastored Bible Fellowship, a mission-focused congregation in Riverside, California. He is currently minister-at-large for that church. He also served as associate director for the U.S. Center for World Mission in Pasadena, California, where he was involved in a wide range of mission strategy, mobilization and training projects.

David's undergraduate studies were in Bible and missions at Columbia Bible College in South Carolina. He studied missions and church growth at Talbot Theological Seminary in California.

David's wife, Jeannie, serves as his administrative assistant at OMF. David's hobbies include discovering new computer applications to missions mobilization and collecting World War II movies on videocassette.
