Almost ready to go!

Meet the team (we were told to do something stupid for this photo)! There's: Chris, Simon, Chong Yew, Andrew, Eleri and Becky.

The sad news is that unfortunately Chong Yew has had to pull out because of his academic work.

We’ve all been getting ready for our Serve Asia trip to Thailand; most of the team have now met up to get to know each other a bit better and to discuss what we’ll be doing. Chris has already done a bit of research and even visited a Buddhist temple. We’ll be flying out to Thailand on 22nd July. First of all, please pray that we can all get up in time as we’ve got to be at the airport at 6:30am! Please also pray that God would prepare us and grant us a safe journey next Tuesday.

Here's how Chris is getting on and his thoughts on the trip ahead:

I am now incredibly excited about coming to Thailand!! It is Thursday. Our flight is not until Tuesday but I am already packing, because I am moving house as well. Must buy Marmite and sun-tan lotion, and remember to pick up my coach ticket so I can get to the airport for our early start. Glad that we will have a day in Bangkok to rest… Beyond that, I have never been to Phitsanulok before, so really looking forward to meeting everybody at the Youth House. Praying for all of you, and hope to see you in person very soon.
