The Elementary School and The Temple Visit

The Elementary School

The last 3 days we've been at an elementary school in the Wanhua district of Taipei. We've been teaching English, singing songs, playing games and getting to know a group of kids from working class backgrounds. They're an amazing bunch of kids but through our small group times we've been hearing how many of them come from really broken homes.

Visit to the Longshan Temple

Yesterday we went on a visit to a local temple to learn more about the religious backgrounds of the kids that we're working with. The temple was busy with people of all ages offering incese to, bowing to and seeking guidance from different idols of gods.

Praise

• For good relationships that are being built with the kids we're working with
• That our God is the true and living God and that he is more powerful than any idol

Prayer

• For God to be at work in these kids' lives
• For the team to have energy and strength for each day
