Taiwan's Urbana

- Monday 09 July 2007

we are waiting for the evening meeting to start

We went to Chung Li for the Urbana on Saturday evening. This conference is held by CMF every three years. This year, there are over 1600 attendees. It is great to see so many young people who are interested in mission. The speaker last night was Paul Borthwick, and James Hudson Taylor IV was translating for him. We took the train and traveled about one hour down to Chung Li. The weather is still very hot as usual. During the conference in the evening, the air container broke down, it became extremely hot in the hall and many people were waving a small fan or a piece of paper to cool down a little bit. Although it was very hot (we could see the shirt of the translator was wet), it didn't affect the enthusiasm of the speaker and the translator.

girls in Taiwan use their umbrella under the sun, we are doing the same :-) it works
