If our trip to Taiwan is to be a success, we need to make sure that it is 100% in God's hands. It would be great if you would consider praying for us, either as a one off or regularly before, during and even after our time in Taiwan. Specific prayer points will be posted in our blog updates, but to get you started here are some general things that you can be praying:

For the trip:

• Pray for safety, both physically as we travel to and around Taiwan, and spiritually as we encounter new and potentially difficult spiritual situations. Pray especially for our health as we adapt to the Taiwanese climate.
• Pray for practical arrangements before and during the trip, that everything would fall into place so that we can focus on doing God's work.
• Pray that God would be guiding the work we do and the places we go to, and that we would be willing to be flexible in our schedules and expectations.

For the team:

• Pray for strong friendships to be built up and for trust and accountability to be developed between team members.
• Pray that we would all grow in faith as we learn more about ourselves and our God.
• Pray for the long term OMF missionaries in Taiwan whom we will be joining, and in particular Irene, Katherine and Jeremy who are organising our trip.

For the people we will meet:

• Pray that God will be opening and preparing hearts even before we meet people and that our conversations and teaching would prompt questions and a genuine desire to learn more.
• Pray that we will be able to show God's love to those we meet in a way that will cause people to desire to know the one who inspires it.
• Pray that God will be guiding us in our conversations and teaching, and that we will have many opportunities to share the Gospel with those who don't know it and to encourage those who do.
