Preparing to go...

As I get ready to go I've got a few prayer requests...

  • Please pray that the time away would be a great chance to experience day-to-day overseas missionary work, and that during my time with the McCleans I would be useful.
  • Please pray for an evangelistic camp at the beginning of August, pray that this would be a wondeful time for the Thai students, and that they would learn more about God through this. Pray also that I would begin to settle in to a new culture before going away on camp.
  • There are English and USA teams currently staying with Johnny and Ann helping to run a series of events called LOOK! The teams will leave shortly after I arrive. Pray for opportunities to meet the people that they have got to know during the days where we overlap.

    Hi John,

    Just back from camp where a few CICCU bods have been with us... We have had a great yet challenging time, but it has been a privilege through it all to consider Christ - "Let us fix our eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith, who for the joy set before him endured the cross, scorning its shame, and sat down at the right hand of the throne of God. Consider him who endured such opposition from sinful men, so that you will not grow weary and lose heart." Heb 12:2-3. Consider Christ!
