Konnichiwa!

Konnichiwa! (Hi!)

Well we've arrived safely at the OMF guest home in Tokyo, where we'll be staying until Thursday for our orientation. Our flights went without a hitch (apart from a certain Mr Rubie showing his level of Japanese cultural awareness by unshamedly blowing his nose on the flight to Tokyo). An enquiry was also made by Alice as to whether one still experiences night time when one is above the clouds.

We're feeling pretty tired but it's great to be here. We're just about to head out to lunch, so bye for now!

  • Goody, didn't know you played the guitar?!
    Lovin the cheesy photos!

Delighted to see you're using the blog - such intricate (and slightly gross) details fill the heart with gladness. Just wanted you to know we're reading and praying - we'll keep watching the space!

    Hey guys
So glad to hear that you arrived safely
Praying for you all to be full of energy and enthusiasm and to be relying on God in every situation. Also praying for a safe journey for you tomorrow
Oh and while I’m here - It’d be great if you could pray for the Salamanca team as we head out on Saturday
    Take care

Apparently Hokkaido just experienced an earthquake of approximately scale 5.6... Hopefully your plans will go ahead as usual. Watch out for earthquakes my friends- THEY ARE NOT FUNNY...

And I praise the Lord because you guys are not there when the earthquake happened! But do watch out for the minor earthquakes that usually follow! Apart from that I wish you a fruitful mission and I pray that you will be with the Lord, always.

I'm really encouraged by you guys who are currently working in the Far East.

    God bless,
    Enoch
    Valid question Al.

Glad you're all safe and sound. Is it rude to blow your nose in Japan?

Lots of love and prayers. Hope you get over the jet lag soon. xx
Great you guys landed safely and had a decent flight! Love the profile pictures, a thoroughly professional blog all round; well done Goody methinks.

Anyway, praying for you all, hope you settle in well and aren't too wrecked by the jet-lag. Lots of love form miserably wet Durham, though astonishingly the sun's made an appearance as I write..
