Update from 22nd July: On the verge of a busy week!

Thailand McClean - Thursday 02 August 2007

Praise God for what has happened this week:

  • We've all survived!
  • There are a number of students coming to events at the youth house, and church today, who had never heard about Jesus before. This includes a Thai student and several Chinese students. On top of this praise God that many students who have been coming along to the youth house have been thinking more seriously about the question of who Jesus is.
  • Friendships have been founded with quite a few Thai students, which has enabled encouraging of the Christian students- thank God this has happened despite the language barrier.

Please pray:

  • For energy levels this week, there's loads going on, below is a brief overview of our week.
  • For Ann and Jonny as they have a lot going on with our team, a few more people coming on Tuesday and an evangelistic camp we're running for abouyt 150 people from 3rd-5th August.
  • God would guide us to those who he would have us talk to- both in the events we're doing and as we go on campus to meet students. Many of these students don't have a clue who Jesus is and think it doesn't m,atter what religion you are as all religions just make you a better person.
  • We'd carry on trusting God with all things, and that the Christian Thai students would too, life is hard for many of them.

This week: At luchtimes, we're meeting up with students, doing tracts and surveys on culture and religion.

Monday night - open air with testimonies, preaching, drama and singing.

Tuesday night - coffee bar serving snacks, with live music, Karyoke and gospel presentation.

Wednesday - girls have a craft night with gospel talk, boys have sports in the park.

We will update for the rest of the week in the next few days.

Thank-you for your prayer support, we know that God works through our prayers and your part is as vital as ours.
