Together in Bangkok

Well, we've arrived safely in Bangkok for a couple of days of sightseeing, orientation and general Thai-style fun! - and so far it has been great fun! The journey was long and tiring but we've now settled in and have been staying at the OMF mission house.

Today we have been given a tour of the sights of the city by Bob, a trainee student worker from Nakhon Sawan. We went to the Palace - a highly decorated complex including many temples. Despite the beauty, it was distressing to see people giving their worship to these idols, which cannot help them.

Tomorrow, we are going up to Nakhon Sawan, where we will based. We have enjoyed meeting the McCleans and we look forward to supporting them in their ministry. Please pray to our living God, who really can help us, for safe travel on the bus and that we would take on board the evening's training session.
