This week so far - preparing for Camp!

On Saturday we had a team rest day and went bowling and then went out for pizza - this was very much needed at the end of one busy week with another in prospect...

Both Monday and Tuesday of this week were bank holidays here in Thailand so we have been having a quieter week at least in terms of the number of activities we've been running. However the key thing on our adgenda this week has been preparing for Camp this weekend!

We have seen God provide greatly both in the finances for the Camp and in drawing many people to sign up to come. We are expecting there to be over 100 people at camp, both from Nakhon Sawan where we are working and from other university towns in central Thailand. About half of those attending are not Chistians and we hope and pray that through the camp thai students would come to consider Christ for the 1st time!

At the camp there will be lots pf fun activites and crafts such as Juggling and glass painting. We will also be playing some great new sports such as "frizbee golf" and most importantly we will be having three bible study session looking at the question of Jesus' identity.

So in order for this to happen we have been busy at work this week, assembling camp handbooks, planning workshops, preparing studies etc.. In a hard week with several late nights it has been great to work together as a team and to see the enthusiasm and diligence as the strive with us towards the same goal!

So for the camp....

Praise god

• For his provision of money, resources and a suitable camp site.
• For the passionate work of the few Christian students here in planning the camp.
• That so many people have signed up to come!

Please pray

• That we as a team would be sustained through a busy weekend at the camp.
• For Johnny and Ann McClean our hosts as they put so much effort into the camp and also have a family to look after!
• That God would reveal himself to those who are seeking him and that by doing so, lives would be changed at the camp this weekend!
• Particularly for the same few students who have been turning up to many evangelistic events ovetr the last three weeks that we would see them come to a decision to follow Christ!

Finally, we will be returning to the UK on Monday afternoon with many great stories to tell some opf us are glad to be returning home, others with we could stay but it has been a great experience.
