Introducing The Team...

Hi we're Matt, Chris, Will, Chike, Oge and Jane the OMF ServeAsia team heading out to Nakhon Sawan in central Thailand on July 11th. We will be spending just under four weeks there working with Thai university students alongside long-term OMF missionaries Johnny and Ann McClean.

We're really excited about the many experiences that lie ahead of us when we reach the sunny (if rather overpoweringly hot & humid!) shores of Thailand! We are currently preparing for the trip, seeking to learn a little of the Thai language and to come to understand the culture better. We are also meeting up soon as a team for a social weekend in Northern Ireland to get to know each other better.

We recognise that this work will not be easy. We will need God's help simply to carry out the task ahead - and even then, God must be at work both through us and behind the scenes in the lives of the Thai students we meet if our work is to bear fruit and have a lasting impact for the extension of Christ's kingdom in Thailand!

We pray that God will use each of us powerfully, with the different skills and gifts he has given us, and we hope that through this Blog you can be helpfully informed of our progress so that you can be praying for us and for those we meet during this experience!
