Getting ready

Having plagiarised Goody's excellent work on these pages last year, the blog is just about set up, by mysterious impostor "Tony" Welch! Meanwhile Tom Welch and the rest of the team are all currently in our different localities around the country, but are heading down to Annie's on Sunday afternoon before catching our Virgin flight on Monday. Leaving at 1pm English time, we have a 12-hour flight arriving in Tokyo at 9am Japanese time - it will be a very long day! Working on the blog has increased my excitement level about the trip and with it my nerves. If you're reading in time, do pray for us all this weekend as we prepare psychologically and as we pack; some of us are working to very tight schedules and there is a lot to get done. Hopefully we will be able to post again at the end of our first day - no doubt there will be a lot to tell about!
