Team Introduction

Here's a quick introduction to the motley crew:

Naomi Rowland - I've just finished 6th year of architectural education and am excited about seeing how Paul uses his architecture skills in a missionary context. In addition I am looking forward to supporting Grace in her kids club role and everyday living such as looking after Isobel and Sally. I love playing sport and I hope opportunities will arise in this/kids work/university to share the gospel with the Khmer people, particularly in light of the killing fields where political and religious unrest has commonly resulted in mistrust of each other.

Ben Grimshaw - Helloooo! I'm a final year Medical Biochemist, nearly finished my degree and trying to find a job before getting married in August! This will be my first mission abroad and something that's completely out of my comfort zone. I'm also not a huge fan of flights, so I'll be preparing for some white-knuckles before and after the trip!! Please pray that God will teach me how to become more reliant on Him while I'm out in Cambodia and that we would all be able to get stuck into everything we do when we're out there

James Marshall - Hello, I am in my third year of medicine in Manchester, and I am using my last long summer to go on this mission trip. I have never been involved in cross cultural evangelism before-- apart from a trip to France for a week doing street evangelism during an arts festival. This will be very different: I am looking forward to meeting people, especially at the university and kids club, and having the time over a few weeks to build relationships with them and share our faith. Thank you for visiting the site and please pray for our team and for God's work in Cambodia.

Dan Bauhahn - I'm a second year mechanical engineer. This will be a return to Cambodia for me as my parents were missionaries out there whilst I was growing up. I'm hoping this mission will give me a clearer picture of what it is the Lord wants me to do with my life, and whether or not that will include Cambodia.

David B (Relay Worker) - Hello! Thank you for taking the time to visit our blog! Last summer I graduated with a degree in Aerospace Engineering and this year I've been doing something with uccf called Relay which, in brief, is a training and discipleship program. Having almost finished this, I'm trying to make the most of my summer prior to hopefully finding work. Please pray that God would give us a genuine love for one another and those we have the privilage of serving. Pray that each of us would be useful, changed for the better, and return with a much greater love for God and awe at His gospel.

Emma Pedlar - Hi! I'm a 1st year Medical Student from Chelmsford in Essex. This will be my first time going away with the church on a mission trip, although I have previously been away to Ghana in my gap year. I'm really excited about the opportunity to go out to Cambodia and be as useful as possible to the Robinsons and be an effective witness! Thank you to everyone for all your support and prayers!
