Many East Asians become lonely and disappointed not long after arriving in the West. Some have heard about Christianity, and that countries like the UK are Christian. They can become bewildered when the lifestyles they see don’t reflect what they’ve heard about Christianity.

Such people may have many questions to ask about the Christian faith or about their new surroundings. If you have an East Asian friend, or know of an East Asian living near by, consider inviting them in for a coffee or a meal, giving them time to relax and talk.

Others are challenged by their new freedom from family constraints. It’s a time to explore and discover new cultures, to ask questions they could never ask at home. By the grace of God, when they need a friend, his people will be ready. Could you be one of those people

How open are they?

There was a knock at the door. Zoe was from East Asia. She had heard about the Bible study and wanted to know more.
