Let's Go Evangelize the New Converts

We praise God that the PhraBaht Church wants to plant a new church in the neighboring town of Nong doan. We rejoice that many people there are open to hearing the Gospel in this community of farmers and day laborers. In fact, about 10 people have prayed to receive Christ in the past couple of months. To follow up these new converts, the PhraBaht Church started a cell group at the house of Mr. Chaat and his wife, PhraBaht Church members who live in Nong Doan. While initial attendance was good, barely anyone comes anymore and only rarely do any of these new believers make it to Sunday worship in PhraBaht. So, why aren't these new believers eager to grow in their new faith? Perhaps they were never really converted. Perhaps they want Jesus to fix their personal problems, to help them go to heaven or escape hell, but they have not yet submitted to Christ's Lordship and the demands of the Gospel. - Pray for missionaries Karl & Sun, Pastor Jaroen, Mr. Chaat & his wife and the PhraBaht church members as they visit and teach the Gospel to people in Nong Doan.
- Pray for true repentance (Acts 2:38) and evidence of the fruit of the Holy Spirit in each person's life (Mt. 7:15-20, Gal. 5:22, James 2:14-17)
- Pray that a church would be planted in Nong Doan
