Clare - Philippines

So, in order for you to understand what it's really like here, I want to discuss some fundamental differences between here and home!
Filipino time - This is taking a bit of getting used to... Filipinos are hugely relational and much time is spent chatting, time here is A LOT more flexible and it's normal to turn up late.
The Traffic- is mental! Completely the opposite of the laid-back Filipino way of life, there don't seem to be any real rules, cars pull out from side roads into the middle of the road and block the traffic till they can get through.

Japan fmZERO

Just a quick note to say that the earthquake that hit Japan today has not affected us at all. We only heard about it when we saw it on the news. As it happens we were out in the sunshine enjoying a much appreciated day off before our big week at Hokudai University starts tomorrow! Read the rest of the fmZero blog here ...
