Church Planting and Health care of OMF team
Possible Tasks
Working together with the Field Medical Advisor to give medical support to OMFers in Japan;
* Giving practical help to families when there is sickness;
* Giving practical help during pregnancy and after babies are born;
* Accompanying OMFers to Japanese outpatient departments when needed;*assisting the MA with routine medical examinations;
* Promoting healthy lifestyles and advising on health matters;
* Running a home where colleagues can go for rest and recuperation as needed .
Encouraging and getting alongside individuals and families are strategic aspects of this ministry. Interest and training in counselling a big advantage.
Ministry among Japanese people can be undertaken as time allows, through church attachment, English teaching, etc

What's required?
General trained nurse with several years of work experience. Obstetric and paediatric experience and/or background in public health helpful. Counselling skills an advantage. Commitment to holistic care and proven ability to get alongside people in supportive ways.
