To Do What?
Student ministry as part of Church Planting team

Possible Tasks
Reaching students within the particular geographical area of focus of a church planting team by:
o initiating church activities to attract students;
o being available to spend time with students;
o seeking opportunities to meet with students in schools and on campuses through teaching, participation in clubs, and what-ever other means are possible;
o challenging unreached Japanese university and high school students with the claims of the gospel;
o seeking by every means to lead university and high school students to a saving faith in Christ;
o discipling Christian students to be aware of the vast spiritual needs around them and not be swamped;
o integrating new Christians into the local church, and inspiring them with a vision to reach out to others

What's required?
Student work experience is desirable, but not essential. Initiative needed to go into the universities and high schools to find ways of making their own contacts and seek positively to lead young men and women to Christ. Willingness to take time with students, understand their concerns, and so learn how best to present the gospel to them
