Prayer Point

At a park outreach David Eastwood recently gave a talk entirely in Taiwanese which, while it lacked the fluency of his usual Mandarin talks, certainly drew a crowd. Give thanks for new contacts and pray for wisdom in planning further church planting initiatives amongst the working class of Taiping City.

Religion: Buddhism/ Shamanism 53.7%, Non religious/ other 41.6%, Muslim 4%,

Mongolia was traditionally home to nomadic herding peoples. Now a third of the population live in the capital, Ulaanbaatar. The nomadic lifestyle is gradually becoming less common and only half the population continues to herd livestock in rural areas. There is enormous potential mineral and oil wealth.
