Xi'an

Terracotta Warriors - is there anything else? After the third time even these military friends seem a little dull. I've walked the wall of Xi'an. I've done the market near the great mosque and shopped underground near the drum tower (is it the drum or the bell?). I've never stayed in a hotel since I've only ever been put up by friends. Anyone know of a good place to stay? Low budget, high quality. Or is that just too optimistic? My friends fed me up with pizza, so I don't have a clue where or what the best Chinese food is.

What's the TSPM church like here? Is there anything other than grey hair? Is the preaching any good. Xi’an Shi, 710048. 029-3238041. 7 and 8.30 am and 7.50 pm. 1, Nanxin Jie, Jixian Xiang, Xi’an Shi, 710004. 029-7215757. 7, 8 and 10 am; 7.30 pm. Still correct?

Climate - I've been in October (pretty chilly) and August (pretty muggy). Any further info on that.
