Prayer Point

Myanmar has slipped from the headlines but the survivors of Cyclone Nargis are still in desperate need. The flow of aid has increased from a trickle to a stream but much more is needed. Continue to pray for an easing of bureaucratic restrictions so that aid can reach the millions in need.

Dear Praying friends,

Although the overall position shows that we have received 95% of our target income, the subtotal (without support gifts) is only 76% of target.

As we send all of our support gifts to our workers in East Asia, and quite a lot of the remaining income is used only within the UK (e.g. to pay retirees and fund support activities in the UK) our cash position is starting to decline, and will need to be watched carefully.

Please pray for our ability to contain our expenditure responsibly, and that the Lord will send us income as we need.
