Two Rungs toward believing

Whilst in Suphanburi, I had a chance to catch up with Thana, who has a Christian mother-in-law. He is very courteous and welcoming to us. I have had numerous opportunities to share the Gospel with him. He is drinking more alcohol these days and I asked him why. He said it helps him relax after working hard in his asparagus fields. As I shared with him, I could see on his wife's face the desire to see her husband not drink so much. I shared that Jesus can totally fill his life with joy and meaning, and that alcohol only dulls the senses against the real need. He pointed to the wooden stairs with 6 or 7 rungs behind him that lead to their sleeping quarters and idol room. He stated that he was two rungs towards believing in Jesus Christ. • Pray that he will continue to listen to the Gospel and that he and his wife would give their whole lives to Jesus Christ.
  • Pray God's blessing on his farming and on his family.
