To the temple or not?

Pii Faay asked me if I could start teaching her and her children about Jesus, because she was touched by what she had read in a tract. I started the Chronological Bible Study with her and she was very open showing great wisdom and understanding. We were very pleased with this opportunity for teaching about Jesus. BUT….
After a few lessons we came to the Ten Commandments. After the lesson she was a little bit more quiet than before and she asked if it was OK to follow all the commandments except the first one. I explained again and again, and left her.The week later she told me that she could not become a Christian. Her friend, an important schoolteacher, told her that she could not go to the temple anymore if she becomes a Christian. (This teacher has more influence over her that I do.) We continue to study the Bible together and I pray that God may open her eyes to see who God really is, and that she may have the strength to stand up against influential people in her life. - Pray that Pii Faay may see the reason why we can only worship God
- Pray for her children that they come to know the Lord too.
- Pray that one day we can baptise this whole family.
