Not just going to Children's Camp, but going to Heaven

"But, I don't want to go to Burma!" cried one little boy. "Will we back in time to go home on Saturday?" asked another anxiously. They were having their photos taken to make their passports at the Annual Central Thailand Kids Camp. The theme of the camp was Mission.
After hearing the story of Hudson Taylor told throughout the week, the kids went on a simulated mission trip to several different countries. At each place they heard about how the gospel first came to that country or people group, learned a little of the local customs and language and shared the gospel with some of the people. Finally they took their converts to heaven. Each child received white robes (tee-shirt) and a golden crown. Triumphal music played as they walked on a golden path into the cool white-draped meeting room and took their place before the golden throne. Then each group sang praise in their country's language and we all praised God together!
Gik is a 12- year-old girl we took with us to camp. I asked her, "What was the best thing at camp?" "Heaven!" was her quick reply. After coming back from camp Gik told her parents she wants to be a missionary! Let's continue to sow the vision for mission into the Thai church.

- Praise God for many good Christian camps throughout Thailand last month!
- Pray for the seeds sown - seeds of who Jesus is, or the way of salvation, or receiving God's blessings to be a blessing to the nations - to bear much fruit in the lives of men, women, youth and children who attended the camps.
