Granny Bangon "applies" to Jesus

For over a year, a Lopburi Church Bible Study group had met in the home where Granny Bangon lived. While she was warm toward group members and had listened in on the praise songs, Bible study and prayers, she never showed much interest in the gospel. Then, one evening as the group met on the front porch of the house, Granny Bangon came out and asked, "Can I apply to join?" As she began to grow in her faith, one of her friends tried to turn her back to Buddhism. Granny Bangon's Christian daughter rejoiced as Granny Bangon replied, "I don't need to. I've got Jesus now, and He takes care of me." (submitted by Tim Noble, church planting Ayutthaya Province)

- Pray that more Thai Christians would join together for mid-week home study/fellowship groups, for their own spiritual maturity and as a witness to Thai communities.
