Changes in House and Heart

Mrs. Khack lived down the street from the church and wanted to know what was taught there. Some of her relatives in another area of Thailand were Christians, and she was hungry to know more. But she did not have courage to go, until she met two believers who invited her to church. She showed bright interest in what she heard and soon placed her trust in Jesus! Not long after, she and her daughter, Boo, in her 20’s, had to move. Mrs. Khack felt that God led her to the house to rent. She asked the believers to help move her things. During the time the believers were helping move the belongings, daughter Pu opened her heart. When Pu came to church for the first time, she was asked about her relationship with Jesus. She said, “I’ve already invited Him into my heart! I did it when we were moving to our new house together.” (Arlene Sorenson, Nong Pling Church, Central Thailand)
- Praise the Lord for simply knocking on her heart and for her faith to let Him in!
- Pray for spiritual growth in grace and knowledge of the Lord.
- Pray that believers will be led by God’s Spirit to find the spiritually hungry who are ready to respond to the message of hope and salvation in Jesus Christ.
